WITHIN ME

There were times she was around me. Cuddling me kissing me passionately. Now there's not a single crease on the linen bedding. No one to nag me to pick up the wet towel. The days when she would shower me in the blissful rain drops of her wet hair and leave red lipstick marks on my favorite white shirt are long gone. The shirt is still there so is the water but no one to drown me into the sea of bliss. I don't know where she went but all I know is that she came for me and went for me. I still remember the first day I saw you. Wearing that million dollar smile you entered my class. The beautiful eyes behind your nerdy glasses which could make a man swoon.
